Cavaldi “Joey”

Cavaldi is a 16.1 hand registered Irish Sport Horse gelding born in 1995. He is Irish-bred by the world renowned Holsteiner stallion Cavalier Royale and out of the TB mare Catell who is by Cataldi. Bred to event at the highest levels of the sport, Cavaldi is a true world athlete having successfully competed at international competitions in the United States, Canada and England.

Cavaldi was imported by Kristin in 2002 and she has been actively competing him at the CCI**** level since 2005. Shortly after his arrival in the US, he won the Markham Trophy at the Foxhall Spring Championship. Kristin has commented that Cavaldi feels like he is “just skipping around the 4 star level” when she rides him cross-country. Cavaldi was listed on the 2011 USEF Eventing Developing Rider A List.
