Now Who’s Laffin “Carter”

10624632_10203284818780837_3739968466938345423_nAt three years of age, Carter already demonstrated the traits and characteristics of a top event horse. The son of Kristin’s 4-star mount Ballylaffin Bracken out of the Irish Thoroughbred mare Rathcolman Lady and bred by Kristin herself, Carter was an exceptional young talent with a very bright future ahead of him. Kristin and Team KSE would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped to make Kristin’s dream of Carter a reality, he was a truly special horse who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

From Kristin:

“It is a very sad day here at Team KSE. This morning we very tragically lost my darling baby ‘Now Who’s Laffin’ aka Carter, to a horrific pasture accident. This precious three-year-old old was one that I bred in Ireland and he was by my current 4-star horse Ballylaffin Bracken and out of an Irish TB mare ‘Rathcolman Lady’. Carter was an absolute dream that became a reality for me and my family. A beautiful model of a sport horse that just oozed personality and character that even resembled some traits from his father Rox, even this early in life. His life was cut way too short and to say I am heartbroken does not even begin to describe the pain. I can’t say much more at this time other then thanking everyone who helped. I will be mourning this poor sweet baby along with my other owners. Thank you all for your love and support. I am so very sorry for our loss. RIP Carter, xoxo.”
